Diverse cleaning offer a Kitchen Deep Clean service to our clients to a very high standard, we offer ATP testing with a luminometer and provide a certificate of works on completion.  It is very important to schedule these cleans on a regular basis to maintain the standards of cleanliness that health inspectors and the fire department will look for.  We will contact you on an agreed time frame and let you know that a clean is due and when we will be attending.  We can work out of hours and weekends so that these Deep cleans do not interfere with your normal opening hours.  These cleans are suitable for Restaurants, Hotels, Bistro’s as well as Hospital kitchens, Golf clubs and any other catering facility.

Kitchen Extractor and Duct Cleaning

Kitchen extractor hoods and canopies are subject to TR19 regulations in order to keep them clean and safe.  Extraction systems that are not kept in a clean and grease free condition are a fire hazard that can put both the business and its customers in danger. Insurance companies now require a cleaning log to be kept for extraction system and ducting to comply with TR19 B&ES Health and safety standards. We will provide before and after photos or video of your ducting and a written report and certificate will be issued after completion.

We use the latest equipment to ensure your canopies and ducting are left totally clean and sanitised.  Canopies are cleaned with high pressure steam cleaners and the ducting with steam and rotary brush systems.

The need for getting these specific areas cleaned should not be underestimated. There are three major reasons to take this seriously:

  • Areas in your extract ducts, canopies and similar areas that become clogged with a layer of grease will often become ideal breeding grounds for bacteria.

  • Fire risk – Fat deposits in your ductwork can be extremely flammable, meaning in the event of a fire in your kitchen, it could spread dangerously quickly.
